An article is, in general, an essay that presents the author’s argument, but sometimes the definition is uncertain, overlapping with that of an argumentative paper, an article, a newspaper column, a novel, and even a short narrative. An article can contain a thesis statement, which will be a clear discussion presented completely in the design of an argument, or a list of related information, which will often support the author’s point of view.
